The following is a listing for a cad drafting job for a designer drafter. The Robbins Company is an international designer and manufacturer of tunnel boring
machines. We have an at our Conveyor Systems Division in Oak Hill, WV.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- prepare innovative and specification compliant designs for Robbins' conveyor
systems.
- create CAD drawings according to the project schedule.
- check drawings for dimensional accuracy, completeness, and content to conform to Company standards.
- communicate with customer to clarify project requirements, and with vendors to assure quality.
- attend design review meetings scheduled by the Project Engineer.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Drafting, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of design/drafting experience of mechanical systems
- proficiency in Solid Edge or other 3D software.
